The Story of himoloqi

HIMOLOQI, meaning “a place to worship the gods” in ancient language. Since ancient times, the Japanese people have felt, both physically and emotionally, that something sacred resides in all things in nature. Even without going to a special place, a pure place already exists within each and every thing. Our aim is to create a place like such a himoloqi. Please leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and find healing to your heart’s content by immersing yourself in this place. Look inward in the silence and, before you know it, return to your “true self.” We hope to share that peaceful moment with you all.

Stay in himoloqi : Rent “Hanale” and “Omoya”houses 離れ・母屋　2棟貸し

Basic Price 35000yen : Basic Price of renting 2 houses comes with 3 futon set　
Hanale: Private house with toilet, washbasin, mini-refrigerator, tea set,
air conditioning/heating, Tables and chair, Wi-Fi
Omoya :Relaxation space/wide bath room/kitchen and wide dinning room/Toilet
(For Omoya, private use is possible when there are no special events, etc.)
Wi-Fi available throughout the building

Additional futon :7,000 yen per extra futon (up to 13 futons)
Free of charge for children up to 6 years old.
In case of need of extra futons, there is a charge for any age.

We offer negotiable rates for long stays, children, solo travelers, and large groups.

We offer a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils and basic seasonings. We also provide an oven, toaster, large refrigerator, and plenty of tableware, making it suitable for large groups. You can also cook with fresh local foods you can find at nearby local shops.
ひもろきでは調理器具、基本的な調味料の揃ったキッチンを完備しております。
炊飯器、オーブンレンジ、トースター、大きな冷蔵庫、食器も多数ご用意しておりますので大人数のご利用も可能です。　
近隣の施設で購入可能な新鮮で安価な食材を調理いただくことも可能です。

DINNER and Lunch: Possibility of ordering a “BENTO box” with local Shiga’s specialties. 2000yen per person. * Advance reservation is required.
Please ask us other kinds of food options. We can offer a vegetalian meal(bento) in advanced reservations. (minimum 2 sets)

  • BREAKFAST: We can provide a Breakfast set that you will prepare by yourself in the fully equipped kitchen: Seasonal Fruits, Bread(5-6slices),Jam,Butter, Drinks ( tea / coffee and Juice), 2500yen per set. Additional Bread:500yen/bag(5-6slices)
    *Advance reservation is required.
    Vegetarian bento are available with advance reservation (minimum 2 boxes).

    朝食：設備の整ったキッチンでご自身で調理していただく朝食セットをご用意しております。内容：季節のフルーツ、手作りパン（5～6枚）、ジャム、バター、お飲み物（紅茶、コーヒー、ジュースなど）で、1セット2500円です。追加パン：一斤５００円

  • TRANSPORTATION: We can pick you up and drop off at the closest station, JR Yasu station 野洲駅 about 15min drive. 1000yen per way *Advance reservation is required.
    交通手段：最寄りのJR野洲駅（車で約15分）まで送迎いたします。片道1000円。※要予約
  • BICYCLE RENTAL: 自転車レンタル　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　500yen/ 1 bicycle per day. or 1000yen for your entire stay
